Taking Steps to be more responsible has been at the heart of Red Equipment since 2008. It has been a continuous project in which we review every area of the business and product to ensure we are always improving our processes and governance.

B-CORP

As a certified B Corporation, Red is dedicated to driving high standards of social and environmental performance, transparency, and accountability. Everything with a Red logo on has been designed and tested by our team in the UK to meet our high standards and ensure it is built to last. Our board facility is working towards becoming waste free with all off cuts used in other industries. Almost all our packaging is 100% recyclable or compostable. Wherever possible, our products are designed for disassembly to enable ongoing maintenance and/or made of 100% pure or reclaimed materials. Our patented Compact boards came about from our mission to reduce a boards carbon footprint during shipping whilst our ‘Recovered Collection’ gives new life to material off cuts to create eye-catching change robes.

Making a reliable product that doesn’t break might sound obvious, but compared to the widespread recalls parts of the SUP industry has encountered in recent years, we believe this is still the most important thing we can do to keep products out of landfills. Made in a private facility, Red Paddle Co boards are built to last, with warranty rates of only 0.5% globally. Designing for disassembly, packaging, our supply chain, and all other aspects of our circular economy philosophy help advance our efforts to reach Net Zero.
